RETURNS must be delivered to the place of purchase, within 30 days of invoice. Any attempt to install skins, which result in staple holes or gluing, will not be accepted for return.
An RA (Return Authorization) number must be obtained prior to returning the merchandise. Merchandise must be accompanied by the original invoice and the RA number, or will be refused for return. For an RA number email info@second-look.com
A re-stocking fee of 20% will be applied to returns. Freight and handling are non refundable.
All sales are final on special, custom or embroidered orders. Non-stocked items are not returnable. Any items returned for refund or exchange must be new, unused and in "as purchased" condition, in the original packaging. All returns must be freight pre-paid. Ownership of product transfers at the FOB point, and the customer must make all claims directly to the carrier for damaged or lost items. Insurance is recommended on items returned and we recommend getting a tracking number for your returned item.
Second Look Design will except merchandise returns when we are in error, and issue shipping or handling credit when necessary.
No return on electrical items – No exceptions! Please contact the manufacturer directly.
Shipping & Handling –
Website prices do not include shipping charges! Shipping charges quoted are for the US continental 48 states only. Domestic shipping can take as little as 3 – 5 days, but can take as long as 14 days. International shipping times may take longer.
Most in stock orders will be shipped within 48 hours. Some items will be shipped directly from the manufacturer and will take longer time for processing of that order.
Warranty -
Second Look Design guarantees the thread, vinyl and workmanship to be defect-free, for 1 year from the date of order. Warranty does not cover damage from the following cleaners: Armor All, 409, Simple Green or other multi-purpose, slippery, silicone based preparations. In addition, gas, carburetor cleaner or any other harmful chemicals will void warranty. Vinyl finish/conditioner, such as the one sold by Second Look is the only recommended treatment. (See care instructions in FAQ).
If installed improperly or impatiently, the hook area on tank skins will tear. This is not covered by warranty, but can be repaired for a minimal charge.
Vinyl does not bleed, but is not stain proof either. Warranty does not cover stains caused by other items, including but not limited to: fuels, jeans, leathers, bike covers, helmet liners etc.
Warranty is void if the foam has been altered or trimmed from the stock OEM seat. SECOND LOOK makes no claim or guarantee that stripes or graphics of the skin will align with your paint scheme, or that vinyl colors "match" paint. Authorized warranty returns will be handled by repair or replacement of the defective part, determined by inspection from Second Look.
Liability -
Having no control over the installation and use of any of the products listed on Second-look.com, Second Look Design assumes no liability connected with their use. Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage or expenses of any kind arising out of the installation and or use of the skins. It is the responsibility of the user to determine the proper suitability and safety of a product for any particular use. User assumes all risk. All claims and or legal action against Second Look must be brought/filed in the state of California. Second Look Design shall not be held liable for prices/text displayed by search engines.
Product/Pricing –
All prices are subject to change without notice. Second Look will not be held liable for typographical errors or any other errors in product information. Second Look retains the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at a price other than the price we have set in our printed price guide. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, Second Look will immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.
Second Look reserves the right to change pricing, terms and product information anytime without notice. Pricing on the website does not include sales tax of 9.25% (California residents only).
